Post subject: 3 SATA drives on P4p800e Deluxe?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>asus (more info?)

I have a P4P800-e deluxe, and I would like to add a 500-750 gig hard
drive. I have two Seagate SATA drives in a mirror array on the Intel
controller, and an IDE hard drive and DVD drive on the IDE
controller. I do not have anything on the Promise controller. Can I
add a single SATA drive to the Promise controller? If so, I would
probably remove the IDE drive. From what I've read, it seems like the
larger SATA drives are more reliable than the IDE drives. Thanks for
any help.
