I have had a SB51 for a few years for the kids computer.

What is a good AGP video card that I can upgrade to that works well. I
am not looking for anything SUPER, but just a little enhancement. Just
looking for something that runs a litte faster, and runs cool, and
doesn't use much power, as I only have the 200Watt Power Supply.

I am considering cards like:

Geforce MX4000 128MB 64-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card
Radeon 9250 256MB 64-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X
Radeon 9600 256MB 128-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X

Any other recommendations would be GREAT!

Thanks!

I was able to run a Gforce 5600 Ultra (requires a power plug) but eventually
started having weird video problems in more challenging games. I suspected
that the power supply may be inadequate but tried a Radeon 9700 Pro anyway
(also needs external power). This was a no go. So, I finally got the best
video card that doesn't require external power...the Radeon 9600XT from
eBay. Works like a champ with Battlefield 2, Middle Earth, etc...but then I
don't have all the video eye candy turned to the highest settings either.
Still gives my son fairly smooth screen play.

Shuttle says they burned in a system configured with 1GB ram, 3GHz P4,
Radeon 9800Pro, etc for 2 days. I think they are nuts on this 200W PS. If
money was no object and I hadn't purchased the 9600XT yet, I'd buy the 250
or 300 W PS and go for a 9800Pro or 9800XT.

good video card for SB62G2 - I have a sb62g2 with a P4 2 ghz cpu, two seagate barracuda drives (80 GB and 160GB). Windows XP Pro is installed. I plan to replace the power supply with a SilentX 250w and I would like to install a new video card at the same time. Quiet is important...

SB51 disable graphics - Just bought a graphics card from my SB51 - until now have used the on-board graphics. I don't see a way to disable the on-board graphics. I keep getting an HKCMD.exe error, which is the intel graphics program. Does anyone know how to disable on-board..

SS51 vs SB51 Noise - I built a SS51 for a friend about a year ago. More recently I have bought a SB51G for myself. (Both used P4 1.8As overclocked to 2.4GHz). Is it my memory, or was/is the fan on the SS51G notably louder? Also I recall it used to kick up to high speed..

Advice: Best -2D- board for SB51? - Hello. I was planning on putting a Matrox card into an SB51 to improve the graphics, but I've read a few posts now detailing trouble with a Shuttle/Matrox combination. Question is then, what are people using as an alternative? The rules are - it must..
