This is an old SE6 board, on which i just put 512M of RAM and a 40G
HD. It runs XP like a dream( I do not play games)---except the
problems below.

It occasionally refuses to boot. Sometime it would just turn the fans
on and nothing(not even the POST) on the screen, and it will refuse to
turn off unless I pull the power plug.

Sometimes it will boot half way and stop at the windows logo.

On exactly the same config, it can also boot completely and work like
an angel for the whole day.

I changed a few graphic cards with no success. It will, however always
work if I leave it to its onboard VGA.

This board was bought in Hong Kong. Would this be the same capacitor
problem leading to the court case settlement in the US?
