Hi,
My wonderful SN85G4V2 (A64 3200+, ATI AIW 9600XT) has lately begun
powering itself off spontaneously. Granted I've not been monitoring
envrionmentals in the 4 months I've had it. So now I've begun trying to
watch the temps with the nVidia system utility.

I run a distributed computing agent that keeps my CPU pegged at 100%
24/7. With my CPU fan set to "Full" in the BIOS, my temps seem to
stabilize at about 50deg C. for the CPU and 48deg C. for the case. Is
this considered in the normal range? I would think the case temp is on
the high side since the graph in the nVidia tool approaches the red line!

Thanks for any comments.

thanks,
Jonathan

Oh I forgot to mention...
In the nVidia utility, the "NF" voltage is in the yellow at 1.6v. What is
the "NF" voltage?

thanks,
Jonathan

NF voltage is the voltage to the nForce chip 3 (as far as I know) and
is supposed to be at 1.6v though I don't know why, it is the same on
mine too.

As for the temperatures, they seem to be fine, a couple of degrees
above mine but the danger point for Athlon 64s is 70 degrees and the
system would shut itself off long before it got that high.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I don't have a Shuttle, but I have an Abit NF7S-2 board, and it likes to restart my computer randomly as well. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but when I checked the nvidia utility, my CPU voltage is barely in the red at around 1.680, my NF is in the red at 1.632, as well as my aux in the red with 1.632. Could this be the cause of my courtesy reboots?
