Samsung 2032MW Monitor playing tunes!

Its a series of beeps. Very random notes or tones. Its not like a simple
beep code being repeated. Its just random with no obvious patern. Its low is
on the monitor's speakers, but very obvious through an amp. Its clear well
about the hiss of high volume.

What I have just noticed, is that its audible with the vga lead in. The
earphone to monitor input is not plugged it. If I remove the vga it stops,
but the monitor seems to go in to a splash screen and all audio is cut, even
the back ground hiss. Implying its cut its audio circuits. So, I think its
still the monitor.

I've also set all the settings to default for luck, no change.

Any thoughts?

Try turning off the PC at the wall, so the base unit (that the monitor is
connected to) has no power at all. Even when turned off, the PC is 'live'
and uses power.

I think you are missing something CB. 'above' is a "Samsung 2032MW Monitor".
'It' refers to the same.
No one else had any trouble!

Nothing of the sort in the message. Subjects are not necessarily
visible when reading messges, depends on newsreader.

So what did you click on to open the short message? If your memory is really
so bad that you forget the subject by the time you read line 1 of the body,
then its time to upgrade your newsreader to one that shows you the message's
subject!

I have the same problem. I use the screen primarily as a second
monitor for my laptop computer (connected via VGA cable), and
sometimes as a TV (PIP is great). However I often hear an annoying
sound when the TV cable is connected. It stops when I disconnect the
TV cable.

So, for now, I just connect the TV cable when I want to watch the TV,
and disconnect it afterwards. If anyone would know how to stop this
sound, that would be great.
