Hi folks,

I may need your advise on my Sony dsc p10:

How to make the picture more strong sharp clear and crispy. The edge
of the object is blurry and not as sharp or strong as the pictures
made by Canon 3MP.

I may made mistake on the settings, I always use auto setting, is that
ok for this camera.
So far the result is not that strong when I blow the image using my PC
the edges of the object are very rugged in comparison to Canon's.

It's good that I can watch the movie clip on my TV directly from the
camera, but the picture is pixelated, it's shameful, don't want to
show this clip to any of my friend

I thought that 640x320 resolution can make better movie clips on TV
instead of the lower resolution 320x240. Am I correct to say this or
there is something wrong with my camera. Or I bought a real bad
camera?

The Sony service centre checked and found nothing is wrong.

Confused

Problem is that you TV is a very low resolution device. I would guess that
any of these cameras that have a movie mode, are going to be disappointing.
My little webcam does pretty good at 640x480 but it sure isn't going to win
any prizes for cimimatograghy. Movies mode takes a tremendous amount of
storage. Technology isn't quite there yet.
Best,
Fred Dwight

I believe I have read others complaining of the same thing. Also the battery
life is reported to be very short.

My Pentax 5MP can be used for a whole week shooting 150-200 shots without a
charge.
