Just got standalone dvd-player with coax spdif-out, so I tried to
get the signal to my pc.
Digital out in dvd is set to stereo and my amplifier plays it okay.
Realtek's drivers are 3.49.
I connected coax to mb's spdif connector to pins 4 & 6.

Has anybody else got spdif-in to work in their mobos?

Is it dolby digital stereo or PCM? You'll need PCM 44KHz.
