Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>gigabyte, others (more info?)

Just got a 7VT600-1394 and it works great except for the sound. sound and
music in games has static mainly coming from the right speaker. Sent the
board back for a replacement and got the replacement today and it has the
same problem. I've tried other speakers and headphones all with the same
problem. even tried the 6ch audio and it still has static. is there a
problem with the onboard sound with these boards? have the same problem with
a 7VTXH+ but with that its much worse. thanks for any info on this.
