There are different versions of AGP (V3 is the current standard) with
different voltages for the card.
Whether an incompatibility between the version of your card and the version
your motherbaord supports is causing your problem, I don't know.
Incompatible versions may just stop working completely.
Some motherboards upport multiple versions but you have to set the right one
in the bios.
