HI,
Using 98SE and now XP Pro with a TUSL-M mobo and an IBM monitor, over a
period of time I started to get small little lines about 1/8th long all
over the screen. Now, after a few weeks they are everywhere.
They are not static but come and go.
I thought the monitor might be no good so connected a new BenQ 591 LCD
to it with its own driver and I still have the same problem.
Logic tells me it is in ther display part of the mobo, but not sure
where and what to do about it.
Any help please?

Looking in the TUSL2-M manual, there is mention of an optional AIMM
memory module. This plugs into the AGP slot and functions as a buffer
for the interal graphics block. You could be having a failure of the
AIMM module (like a timing failure, the white could be the fetching of
an all 0's or all 1's words from memory).
If you don't have the AIMM module, the failure could be in the
Northbridge, the DIMMs on the board (but you'd be seeing crashes
or BSODs), or perhaps the AGP video card, if that is what you are
using.

Thanks..
I do not have an AGP card in but am using the onboard module.
I also don't have the AIMM but maybe it is the N'bridge or the dimms.
I am getting another stick tomorrow so will try that. I know it isn't
one of them as I have already changed it.
If all doesn't work I guess I have the option to use a AGP card or get
another mobo.. I think the later would be the better choice and maybe
just as cheap.

Kinda wavy lines on the screen, right? Try changing the monitor refresh rate
under the advanced display settings.
