My Shuttle (says XPC on box) has a start-up problem. Each morning,
after being off overnight, when I press the power button it does not
immediately start - but some seconds to a minute later, without any more
power button pressing, it just starts. It starts immediately OK after
being on for a while - so the problem is heat related somehow.

The power unit says "ACHME" on it. Any suggestions please ?

You're not on your own here.
I'm responsible for 7 shuttles - SN41G2s coming up to 3 years old.
Most of them now exhibit this behaviour.
When the staff get in in the morning they hit the power button.
Then off to get a coffee, when they return the shuttle may or may not
have powered up.
Eventually they do.
One of them finally gave up all together.
I replaced the PSU with a SilentX one.
Worked straight away and more quiet too.
Does seem to have fixed that one.
Might have to do more of them.
I couldn't put up with that sort of doubt/uncertainty in a system.

I have just fitted a 250W SilentX p/s, and all seems OK now - will check
again after Shuttle is off overnight - but the problem is probably solved.
(I have seen other comments on the Achme p/s - hopefully the SilentX
will be more reliable.)
