The software comes with my p35c-ds3r. Is it supposed to be a trail version
only? I am not able to find any cd key for it on the envelop nor inside the
mobo packing.

Don't bother. It will stop working after a set period and ask you to start
paying a sub. But Symantec AV and 'security' has turned into bloatware that
will slow your machine and may be just about as hard to remove as a virus when
you get sick of it. Used to be brilliant, once upon a time, but these days they
seem more concerned with making sure they get your sub fees than with having
your machine working well. And buying up the competition in order to shut them
down (Sygate) -- that sort of thing really pisses me off 'cause it shows that
they want to get your custom by establishing a monopoly rather than doing it by
convincing through quality.

You'll be better off with a free antivirus and a free firewall.

Trial version only. No CD Key. I think it's good for 60 or 90 days.
