Same HS but updated with 90deg elbow, 60mm-80mm carborator adaptor,
and 80mm 10K variable speed fan. Best I've used. 2100 AMD XP
overclocked to 2600 for going on a year. 105F would be average for 85
ambient temperature. The P4 version of this HS is more substaintial
and massive. I wish mine had a 3-prong retainer - nice to find a
substitute 3-way clip someday. Isn't exactly a firm mate to the CPU
socket with all the extras I've loaded ontop. I'd use mine with a
Barton, no problem. My midtower case is both side 80mm intake and top
vented. Fortran 2 fan PS pulls air off the CPU as well. Heatpipes are
nice - notice SLK getting into one recently. May go to an
abbreviated, contained water cooled setup given the opportunity. Have
close to $50US in the CoolerMaster and saw a 2-piece contained water
setup for $60 not long ago.
