Post subject: WD passport USB 2.0 under USB 1.1

Does the Western Digital Passport 120 GB USB 2.0 works on a Motherboard Viarama P4X266A with USB 1.1?

I´m asking because i have a lot of troubles trying to work with it.

And does any Periferal USB 2.0 can run under 1.1? Or could it be that witheout USB 2.0 i cant use it with the 1.1?

Thanks
