Hello,

I'm thinking about buying a wireless keyboard and mouse.
I know that it's powered by batteries, but how long do they last?
Are wireless keyboards & mouses reliable?

I have a Logitech MX700 which has rechargeable batteries and sits in a
cradle. Get maybe 20 hours of use before it needs recharging. It's quite
dependent on the surface you use it on... the lighter the better.

As for the keyboard... dunno. Probably longer. Given that the mouse is
something like 120Hz update - unless you can type 1000 words/minute you're
not gonna get that sort of useage! For that reason I'm guessing the
keyboard usually takes normal non-rechargeable batteries, but you might be
able to buy some and throw them in.

The ones in my mouse are 1600mAh, you can get up to around 2100mAh which
will give you a bit longer.
