Post subject: Wireless keyboard with silent operation and built-in trackpoint/trackball?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>keyboard (more info?)

I bought one of the Microsoft wireless keyboards a few weeks ago. The
wireless feature works perfectly, but the key touch is too light.
Actually, the whole keyboard feels cheap and flimsy.

Can anyone suggest a wireless keyboard that has the feel of the old
IBM Selectric typewriters? I don't care too much about a bunch of
special feature buttons, but I would like a built-in trackpoint or
trackball. I would also like it to be silent or have a silent option.
No clicking when I type so I can use it in a library or even in a
meeting. I'd also like it to be sorta heavy so it doesn't move every
time I type anything.

Any suggestions appreciated.
