Anyone know if you can use other than the recommended memory or who even
sells the memory on Supermicro's recommended memory list for E7501 chipset
board X5DPA-GG-0. It seems a number of resellers have this board but no one
seems to have the PC2100 DDR ECC 512mb or 1gb memory on their recommended
list.

What I mean is no one seems to have the part#s for those particular
manufacturers listed on Supermicro list. There is plenty of PC2100 memory
out there but just not by those manufacturers and the part numbers listed.

Sometimes it's hard to find this memory by part number. As long as you
go with Corsair or Samsung original memory, you're in good shape.
Corsair memory always works well with Supermicro, and I have never seen
a problem with any Samsung, as long as both brands are the recommended
type. (PC2100 ECC Registered)
