Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>ati (more info?)

Just put this in my computer, it seems 3dMark 03 does not like it. I
did the hotfix for teh X800 card thinking taht would fix it, but it
does not start. Also, Rage3DTweak does not support the X700 yet
either. And under advanced settings>advanced 3D tab, the clock rate
page says 0 for core and memory. That seems strange. Drivers are Omega
4.10 beta. Card plays Far Cry very well, so I am not complaining, just
curious. Anyone else having tehse problems?

Thanks

Bill

I had preordered one, and was told it shipped yesterday, of course I
was told it had shipped on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. I was in
Best Buy today wondering what to buy with my $150 gift card when I
looked on the shelf of video cards and they had 2 of them. 256MB X700
Pro PCI Express cards, so I grabbed one. I will either return the
other one or sell it on ebay, unless anyone here wants it! :c}

I do like it, even though Rage3DTweak and 3DMark03 do not work. I
figure that will be fixed soon.

Sorry, short answer: Best Buy in the DC Metro area.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Try the Omega or ATI 8.07 Beta(Cat 4.11) maybe that'll fix it.

Because I wanted to? I don't really understand the question. I wanted
a good PCI Express video card, this seems like a good choice.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Sorry, what is DC? Many people like me do not live in America.
