Playing COD4 with the latest XFX drivers (this card is still not supported
by the nvidia website default drivers) is almost impossible. Graphics look
terrible, slow, jerky with black objects, even at a small resolution.

Please release some decent drivers soon, XFX!

The latest ATI AGP card looks lovely on COD4.. and the 7950 should be better
than this card!

This is a specific XFX AGP issue judging from all the forums, requiring a
BIOS fix by XFX. Whether they'll ever do this for an EOL card is another
question. Using older drivers seems to work.

Hi,

I have this same card, also AGP. I have been searching a bit but I can't
find the discussions about this, only older ones from the time that this
card was still new (I think early last year). I am curious to read a bit
about though, could You please give me some pointers to the info?

Thank You very much in advance.

Yours sincerely,
Rene

P.S. Do You (or someone else) know what the latest driver without problems
is?

And the lesson is....... never buy a XFX card.

Currently, eVGA is your best bet. Lifetime warranty (if you register
your card within 30 days); 90-day 'step-up' program; plus eVGA only
sells nVidia reference-design cards (with factory-overclock
selections), which helps ensure that all nVidia reference drivers
should work just fine.
