Just put it in this evening. Made one attempt at overclocking, and resulted
in a no-boot situation. Wouldn't even boot with the insert key. Had to
reset the CMOS.

Anybody got any good success stories to tell about this CPU / Board combo?
I'm interested in chip speed and multiplier #'s.

Thanks,
TFM®

This board is an excellent overclocking board.
You'll need to read-up and get a processor with good #'s.
Its a hit 'n miss game..... no guarantees

Realistically TFM is correct though in that processor prices are pretty low
compared to the overclocking you'd expect from your XP1800. Overclocking
tends to be more of a 'sport' than an economically justifiable mission.

my 2 cents
