I've just had a problem which you may find interesting and useful to know.
On doing a reload of an Asus A8V Deluxe with the P650, all was well
until the final load into "full" windows when "no signal" appeared on
the Viewsonic XP171b TFT screen. Thinking I may have done something
stupid, i reloaded XP Pro again with the same result. Put another
graphics card in, all well, DVI o/p OK and picked up. Matrox support
said the P650 was losing the P&P monitor on final boot, to disconnect
with initial booting and re-connect when booting finish. This no good
either. Connected a CRT screen, fine, and refresh at 60 Hz. Loaded the
P650 drivers via the CRT changed to P650, no signal, including a reboot.
Loaded the TFT monitor .inf file via the CRT rebooted with the P650, it
worked! Normally, P&P monitor settings are OK for most things.
Interestingly, when going to dual display, the second Viewsonic monitor
wouldn't display until its .inf file loaded.
