OC 2600 xp advice - Hi Does anyone know where I could find a rundown on how to overclock my system using the same hardware. I have a AMD 2600 XP, with 512MB of 2700 memory on a Asus A7N8X Deluxe NVIDIA I have read that I could overclock quite high..

Need advice on upgrading CPU. - I have a system with a LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR. Will this board take all the 939 like the Denmark, Toledo, and San Diego CPUs? Also, which is the most powerful? It's for the kid's computer, so it does a bit of gaming, and video..

Advice/ideas/info please CPUs Athlon64 v P4 - Hi all, I've been approved for funding to start a web design and hosting business. It's a good thing I have gotten as the costs of startup are higher and the growth of i.e. income, is slow in coming. Anyway, part of what..

Quiet fan recomendations for an single Opteron system - I'm about to build a new based on an ASUS SK8V and an Opteron 146. I want the system to be quiet. Does anyone have a for fans that are both quiet and also do a decent job of cooling the CPU. How noisy is the stock cooler? Power..

power supply - Helo all I will be buying a Asustek S478 Intel 845PE ATX A L R with a P4 2.66 512KB S478 and having looked at all the Atx cases on Dabs, they range from 180 watt to 400 watt, some are even marked as 12 volt, soory if this sounds like a silly..

hi,

im building a new system and just want some quick recommendations. i've
read reviews online about the following processors(pricewatch prices
included):

$80 - Athlon XP 2800 333
$75 - Athlon XP 2700 333
$73 - Athlon XP 2600
$66 - Athlon XP 2600 333
$83 - Athlon XP 2500
$67 - Athlon XP 2500 333

and i'm not finding any info that seems to suggest any one of these
really stands out from the others. the xp 2500 266 seems to be really
overpriced, but other than that, i'm having a hard time knowing what or
what not to choose.

do any of these athlons have any special overclockability relative to
the others?

tia

$67 - Athlon XP 2500 333

Look at it this way
the top speed of every model after and including the 2500+ is about
2200/2300mhz
the M versions should go a bit higher.. personally
I would go with the 2500+ 333 and just make sure I buy a 200fsb (400 ddr)
board with pc3200 ram<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Just assume that it's lock'd from the start.
