VNF3-250 BIOS V 2.0 sets 333 FSB - I just updated to version 2.0 BIOS. Now the DRAM speed options are 100. My A64 2800+ is a 400 FSB chip. When I choose auto it reads 333 FSB on the boot up 1.0 showed 400 FSB. Is this just a bug in the BIOS or what?

Anyone have a BIOS newer than May 7, 2004 for Chaintech VN.. - I am hoping the answer is yes. To email me, just remove the no and spam from my email address.

Chaintech VNF3-250 updated BIOS dated July 29, 2004 - Go to and get the latest BIOS for this

Yes. But it is free. The version is not given, but the BIOS is dated
7/29/2004 ... so it is newer than the one you have. Surprised) This version
includes support for Cool n' Quiet besides other tweaks.
