I tried to boot Damn Small Linux from a CD but it failed sometime in
the middle of the process. I hit the reset button to start over and now
I cannot use my CD-ROM. It will not boot from the CD drive and even in
Windows if I put in a music CD it makes sounds like it's looking for
something then ejects. Was something of the failed boot saved in some
persistant CD drive storage? How do I get my CD-ROM back from the dead?
