generally, there is an option for boot priority and boot device. this is
separate from the boot order of CDROM, HDD, etc. the boot device will be
something like add-in PCI device or HDD0 where the add-in PCI device might
be an example of the SATA controller. once the boot device is set, then the
boot priority can be set.
at least this is how it is on the IC7-G.
