While all that is important to consider, I think the top bit is set on
the basis of quality of the monitor itself.
I have always had good service from Viewsonic. I have only used their
CRTs but I would expect the same from their LCDs. When it comes time,
I am going to buy a 21" Viewsonic LCD. I will pay more but it will
last longer and give me much better service.
Life's too short to waste scrimping for your kid's inheritance. Get
the best and enjoy yourself.
