What can't be burned onto a disc - technically speaking

The disc is not formatted maybe? What program are you using to burn

Got it fixed last night. We had the tech person on the phone that
recently updated our computer from Windows 98 to XP and he talked my
son through the process and they figured out what he was doing wrong.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Good. It's a pretty simple process if using XP to do it. Just open the
CDRW drive in explorer and drag and drop the files onto that open
explorer window then choose write these files to disc. Windows will
then say preparing disc to write (formatting) and then burn them to
the disc.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
