I have an Abit KT7A Raid mobo. I changed cases with basically the same
parts. The only thing new is that I took out a SCSI card I was using
for a CD Burner and added an ATAPI CD burner.

Because of my drive being already mounted on 5.25 rails I just put the
drives in and the boot drive is the first drive on the cable and one of
my old hard drives in in the middle.

I set the boot drive to master and the old drive to slave and used my
cable select cable.

When I boot the bios recognizes all of the drives and the boot drive is
ide1 master. It reports all the drives and they have the desired
configuration but the boot hangs after it reports the drives.
