Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>nvidia (more info?)

looking at the abit 5700 ultra, and the bfg 5900. i play some games, but
mostly watch dvd's using the tv out.

the price is about the same, within 20 bucks or so.
abit 5700 ultra = core 475, mem 900
bfg 5900 = core 400, mem 850

question is would the performance be about the same for both cards, if so,
it comes down to which one has better quality for tv out.
