This Shuttle is really causing headaches... First I had no
sound for TV until the ATI line out was linked to the CD
internally. But now the micrphone doesn't work. And I find out
that the card readers works for MS, CF and SM, but not for (64
MB) SD. Another (8 MB) SD does work? And both work in the
camera and in another reader... so is it the card or the
reader? What's up?

Rgds

Or externally to Line-In. This has nothing to do with Shuttle. This is
how TV cards work. Read the manual for TV/AIW card.

Is it muted/not selected in mixer by any chance? Also, if it's Realtek
audio, see if microphone input is not remapped to something else: check
both speaker configuration in Sound Manager applet in Control Panel, and
Advanced settings for Center in mixer (it is possible to map Mic-In
connector to Center).

It is possible that certain generation of flash memory would not work
with particular card reader, like MemoryStick Pro cannot be read by older
readers. I do not know if SD went through generation upgrade.

Als, what often happens is that a card formatted in camera or MP3 player
would not read in PC and vice versa. Try reformatting the card in PC or
camera and see which works.

I reformatted in the camera, and it worked... Thankx!

Now just the mike that doesn't work any more... Sad

I shall keep trying.
