Hello.
I have a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1212 drive that refuses to close with or
without a CD/DVD when the computer is on. If I turn off the computer
and power it on, the drive closes and stays close. I can reopen it if
I want, but then it won't close. Rebooting will close, but the drive
will eject again.
Does anyone know what's up? Is my drive dying? The drive can read
CD-ROMs and CD-Rs just fine after putting one in, shutdown computer,
and then reboot.
Thank you in advance.
