Post subject: I have a question???
Archived from groups: alt>comp>hardware (more info?)

Hi All,

I resently have posted a couple of anouncement about my free support forums.
I also have tried to answer some questions on the newsgroups for the things
I have knowledge of. My forums site is free and is brand new. I was
letting people from some of the computer and help related newsgroups. I
have received a number of new members from those posts and I am greatful to
the people in those newsgoups for taking the time to check out and join my
site. Again my site is non-profit with absolutely no ads to speak of. I do
not ask for donations of any kind. I more or less do it as a hobby for me.

Anyway, my question is do you think I was spamming? I received to nasty
emails from derek / nul email: spamtrap.TakeThisOut@sgrail.org.
I tried to contact him but he does not except mail from the address he is
sending? One funny thing about it is his email was automatically sent
straight to my bulk mail.

So, if the general consensous is that I was spamming I'm sorry and it won't
happen again. I never intended those posts to be construde as spam.
I am only posting this on alt.comp.hardware.

Thanks Jaks http://www.askhow.net

Some people are naturally paranoid. Ignore him. You seem to be
aware of what you are doing, although I have no idea of your
'support forums'. These things are often worth what you pay for
them, and seem purposeless when newsgroups exist.
