Post subject: another question!
Archived from groups: alt>comp>hardware (more info?)
Had HP replace a 20gb drive that failed, sent a '40gb' by Maxtor in return,
its only showing a a 20gb even tho its in the same machine as my other 40gb,
checked bios etc. HP sent a email mentioning the replacement 20gb so is it
a firmware thing, there is a jumper for 'cap limit' what ever that is, no
jumpers at all as its set to slave
