Hi all..comparing two amd athlon 64 4000+ chips. One sledgehammer, the
other San Diego. What is the main difference between the two. The San
Diego uses a 90 nm process. is this beneficial?

I just want to purchase the better of the two.

The 90nm San Diego uses less power, and also has SSE3 implemented.
Don't bother with the Sledgehammer.
