| Hy,
iam using 2x analog monitors and the 2nd one with
a dvi-connector. I dont like CCC because it requires
MS NET. Is there some way to make the 2nd monitor
work without CCC ?

What don't you like about MS NET? I would like to know as I have read
others that feel the same. I don't have that that I know of so I would like
to know what to avoid. Thanks.

Forget Hydravision, just get ATI Tray Tools instead, or install the
Omega drivers which include the ATI Tray tools. >> Stay informed about: dual monitor w/o CCC |

Most people don't like it since it takes up a lot of space, makes your system run
slower and unless you run .NET-specific software, it adds nothing to your computing
experience.

Sorry for being late, but I just got both monitors set up. I guess I
did install CCC (I'm new to ATI). There is the normal multiple
monitor set up dialogue in Windows. Is that because of the CCC
installation? Are we all Linux users? >> Stay informed about: dual monitor w/o CCC |

The real "gotcha" with .NET will become obvious as soon as Vista
hits the street. I hope y'all love forced subscription software, better
get those credit cards and checkbooks ready -- cuz you'll be using
them a _lot_ starting in early 2008. >> Stay informed about: dual monitor w/o CCC |
