I still drive by the old neighborhood to see what's happening once in
a while.

I thouight my newsfeed for this group was busted. I even deleted, waited a
day, and resubscribed. Had to download 36,000 headers! Been a *long* time
since I last received a message here.

IMO, x86 has gotten boring. How many times can you argue AMD/Intel
when there is no real difference? Everything more or less works
(except Vista - different NG) and everyone has more than enough
performance. Any minor differences in processors is a don't care.
....nothing more than an appliance, like everyone wanted.

On a different note... Memory is sure cheap these days, eh? I just
paid <$100 for 2GB PC5300 SODIMM! Kinda wish I weren't limited to a
32b processor (3GB).
