I guess they are .cda files. They aren't audio files, but mere shortcuts
pointing to the beginning of the track on the CD. To copy the tracks to the
hard disk and to burn them, you need to "rip" them. Many softwares do that,
e.g. Winamp, free at
http://www.winamp.com. Select the CD drive on the left
pane of the media library, and click the button "Rip" on the bottom.
