I have a soyo kt400 DRAGON ultra Platinum.
The fan on the KT400 chip is starting to make hideous noise, I think
the bearings are starting to give.
ANyone know the specs on the fan so I can get a replacement?
I do not have the MOBO anymore, the person I gave it to is telling me
about the noise.
I am looking for an inexpensive solution. >> Stay informed about: Where can I find a replacement fan |

Your friend and you need to do a little bit of detective work. The fan needs
to be removed and carefully inspected for any manufacturer's info that might
be on it. You can use that info - in a Google search - to get the specs on
the fan: voltage, RPM, CFM, dBA. With that info go to
http://www.buyextras.com/fans.html
This company has a great selection of modestly priced replacement fans. Good
luck.

Foget the fan and put one of these on the northbridge chip.
http://www.coolerguys.com/840556016366.html I have been using one for 18
months on a KT333 DUP. If you have decent airflow in your case then there
will be no problem and less noise that originally.

If you can't do what he mentioned, SOYO's website is: www.soyogroup.com
where you can ask them. Be wary of the sales pitch.
