Post subject: How to fix Grainy Video Capture?
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>video (more info?)

I have a Canon ZR45 DV Camera which has a 1394 Firewire port, and on
my Compaq laptop I have a 6 pin Firewire port as well. The cable I
have does not fit into the computer firewire port (12 pin vs 6 pin i
think?) and I am using an adaptor that came with my iPod to connect
the two. However when I try and capture the video onto my computer, I
get grainy video and sound. Are there any ways to fix this? I.E.
different cables or something?

THanks so much for any help!
