Well....they saw right down the middle of your breast bone and open you up
like a clam.......Smile. When they are done they wire it all back together. I
have everything from numbness to one place that feels like I just got hit by
a .357 magnum (and everything in between)......Smile. I guess it will go away
after some time, at least I hope so. ....... The doc said the sternum takes
anywhere from 3-6mos to heal, depending on the individual. I am on a 2 lb
lifting limit until about Apr.

I just like to keep FSB/RAM at 1:1. He had DDR2 PC800 RAM (or whatever the
hell they call 400MHz RAM) so I set the FSB to the same, then calculated
what a good multiplier would be.

Heh! Yeah that could be expensive and it would probably come back with lots
of holes in it. <g>

Sounds to me like a Celeron 1.6GHz 420 (Conroe-L) would be just the thing
for your needs. Wink

Problem with P5B and Q6600 CPU - Hi, today I replaced my old Core2Duo E6600 with a new quad core Q6600 CPU (B3 stepping). After switching CPUs, I find, that my P5B board (with BIOS 1604) does not accept my manuel vcore settings anymore. Whatever I set it to, it will stay at 1.2 v....

Q6600 - danger? - Hello. Just some questions, might sound stupid to some of you, but: I have a Q6600 on P5K @ 2.40 GHz. Just bought OCZ ram - PC9200, max freq is 1150 MHz. To get them running at this speed, I had to set the FSB to 288 (was 266) and the mutliplier to 9....

mobo for Q6600? - What's a good mobo for overclocking core 2 quad Q6600, using DDR2 ram? Is there any advantage using P35 based board? This is for video editing/encoding. So any type of video slot is ok (AGP PCI-E....).

Q6600 good deal? - Core 2 quad Q6600 sells for under $280. Does that make it the best overclockable CPU deal? Normally, you have to pay more than double in order to double the performance. In this case, is Q6600 equal to two core 2 duo E6600s but the price is only 1.5x....
