Post subject: geforce 4600ti or a FX 5200?

I got both of these and without running tests and loading games can you guys
tell me which one would be best choice for gaming
I got the idea the 4600ti is faster but no dx9 and A lot of new games use it

The Ti4600 is faster than an FX5200 or even an FX5600 in some
circumstances. New games use DX9, sure, but they don't (at least now)
_require_ DX9 features in order to play. And once they do, the FX5200
will be too slow to run them at an acceptable speed anyway.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Another "no competition" question, the ti4600 is kick the FX5200 in
it's behind on any racetrack while the FX5200 still has to make a

Hell yeah, probably triple the frame-rate in most games.

The Ti4600 is clocked MUCH faster, but you're right, it's not DX9 capable.
Unfortunately the FX 5200 is slowww.

5200 is a complete piece of junk... I have one in an extra system at my
house and it only get like 15-20fps in 1942 @800x600 medium settings.
That's terrible.
