GeForce Go 6100, lack of real nVidia Control Panel - Last week I was provided with a Compaq Presario F730US laptop for work. It has Vista Home Premium as the OS. The video system is a GeForce Go 6100, actual unknown. It has 64M of RAM and shares 223M of off of the system..

ABOUT BFG GeForce FX 5900 - Dell is selling the exact same card for $299, I just grabbed one from here: for $166. Good Deal I think, thanks to the other post for the tip!

GeForce FX 5600 - How do I what is the up to date driver for this? Looking in device manager, the driver for this card is dated 11/17/03. Nvidia's website has one dated 12/03. But maybe it's the same thing? BTW, the card has 256 meg RAM

This is not a gaming card in any sense of the word. Good for productivity,
web browsing or strictly 2D games like scrabble or Pogo/ Popcap type things.

Das ist eine Scheisskarte (also Antwort auf deine Frage: fast nichts) und in
diese Gruppe ist English die vorbezogene Sprache. Deshalb hat es auch
"videocards" im Namen und nicht "Grafikkarten". Stel nou dat ik er een
woordje Nederlands door ga gooien en another one starts parler Francais
comme si comme ca... Deutschsprachigen Gruppen haben "de." im Namen.

Geforce 6100 is not sold as a discrete card. You can however get
motherboards with the Geforce 6100 integrated into the northbridge. It can
only run older games at acceptable speeds. For example, turn off all the
features in Half-Life 2 and you can get ~40fps at 800x600.
