Using HD tach i ran the test on my 40 Gig western digital HD,it gave
the following results

Random access time 14.6 millisecs
Burst read speed 57 MB/sec

Read speed max 26.9 MB/sec
min 16.4 MB/sec
Average 24.7 Mb/sec
cpu utilisation 15.8 %

If this is bad,how can i improve it? Im using xp pro with about half a
gig of memory and a pentium 3 500Mhz processor

thanks
