Archived from groups: alt>comp>hardware (more info?)

I've got a Pentium 3 800Mhz, 30GB, 512MB RAM. VGA is on-board intel's
motherboard (4mb) I was thinking of installing a graphics card in the AGP, I
liked an nvidia geforce series, 128mb ram, 57US$ Will it make a lot of
difference to my system, or will my processor speed prvent me from playing
new games properly?
Also, what should I look for in buying a graphics card?

Thanks

I have a P3 933 with a similar onboard video. Found a Radeon 128 meg at Tiger
Direct for $49 but don't know if it will fit in my PC. I recently built a 1.2
gig Duron box that did not have the right slot for a similar card I got for
$70. (was able to use it on a newer 2.4 gig PC)

How can I tell what is what? Thanks.
