green flashing in crysis (sli gt8600 setup)

Post subject: green flashing in crysis (sli gt8600 setup)
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>nvidia (more info?)

greenish reddish flashing ingame. running XP dx9.0c.
ive tried all sorts. only thing i noticed is that the bios versions of each
card were different.
Is it possible that might be causing it? Xp seems ok and sli is enabled
using Forceware 169.21.
another thing i had to do was remove the networking software bundled in with
Forceware as it caused Azureus to bomb...!!

Probably not. SLI is designed to work across different brandnames and even
different clock speeds. BIOS version should be the last of your worries.

So Crysis plays fine in single-card mode? Be sure to patch the game to v1.1.
If that doesn't solve the problem, use the 169.28 beta driver:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_169.28.html

BTW, networking software? You mean the firewall app used to be known as
ActiveArmor? Why would you even attempt to install it, besides morbid
curiosity?
