Hi,
I am thinking about buying a G5 2100H system
Under IDE connectors it says;
2x SATA 300 Raid
1x PATA 133
does this mean I can buy it with a SATA-II hard disc drive with windows
installed on it as the boot drive and connect my ide drive that is in my
current system with all my data on it (its an 8 year old system) to the
PATA cable and use that drive as well as the SATA-II drive.
Can they both exists at the same time?
How would the supplier format the SATA disc, if its 200 GB would they
supply it as one 200 GB partition ( C: drive ) or in two or more
partition (c:, D: etc.) ?
would I notice a performance increase between a SATA-I and a SATA-II
drive?
Thanks
