hardware acceleration

Post subject: hardware acceleration
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>video (more info?)
i got empire earth2, when i start it it says "unable to
initialize rendurer", then it tells me to enable direct3d
acceleration, thats what i need to k now, i cant find it, after all
the junk i do with computers i cant figure out this problem, my video
adapter is Amiga Sport 3.0 for Voodoo3 AGP :retard: help please

If I were you, I'd try updating to a PC and video card that were made
this century.

I remember shelling out $$ to buy a Creative Lab Voodoo 3 card 10 years
ago...to enjoy Tomb Raider.

Update to latest version of DirectX. If that doesn't work then you need a
newer video card.
