I just bought this MB and I have XP Pro intalled using two IDE hard
drives in a RAID 1 format. When I try to install the nVidia System
Driver off the installation CD that came with the MB, I get a hard
error in XP and I have to use System Restore to uninstall it. I tried
using the System Drivers from the Gigabyte website and they did the
same thing. I also tried a patch I found there too and still had no
success. So far everything is working fine, but isn't it important to
install these? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi

disable all hardware (that you are not using) and try again. you will need
the mb drivers.

I'm in a basic config right now. DVD-ROM, Video card, Keyboard,
Mouse. Will it install in Safe Mode?
