Hi,
My apologies for posting in the main root of the mobo thread instead of
a sub-thread. I searched for MoBo PCChips and coulnd find one. If there
one please let me know.

Anyone know how to enable 48 BitLBA in MoBo and to overcome the 137GB
barrier in ATA/133 hard disks? Is there a BIOS upgrade for my MOBO
available?

My MoBo is a PCChip K7 Model M811/VIA KT266A/8235 ATX, with a AMD
Duron processor. My BIOS ver Phoneix V6.00 9/10/2003 KT266A +
8235-L-00.

I have Windows XP Sp2 with all the recent patches and also I checked
the BigFileSystem enabled as per the Microsoft Q303013 kb.

TIA
S

have you added the drive yet or is this all preparation?

"I checked the BigFileSystem enabled as per the Microsoft Q303013 kb"

have you looked in the registry to confirm it is listed.

does the drive show up properly on boot screen?
