Little help with an older wireless remote control issue

I have an older Amptron Book PC with an wireless keyboard/trackpoint
setup and a remote control. I loaded XP on it and no longer can use the
Win98 stuff that came with it. The remote will work for moving the
cursor, but that's it. So I downloaded Girder to attempt to get the
rest, or at least some of the functionality back. I have no idea where
to go from here though as I don't know what remote or iRda device this
is. It is an 810 chip set based motherboard with the infrared header
coming out. Keyboard seems to work fine. But I would love to get the
remote working for pause, ff, rew, etc. Can somebody get me started?

the only thing you might try is contacting the girder support and see if they can come up with a solution. try to get past the support guy that's going to ask you if the pc is plugged in. Very Happy

i'm quessing no one actually wrote xp drivers to support your product.
